The guy is a crock and has no case. The material in question offends him but from what I have seen does not actually cause him any harm so legally speaking he may have trouble proving libel.
What exactly was he suppose to have suffered except maybe a bruised ego. This is the Barbara Streisand effect. The lawsuit has generated more attention to the "comments" than they would have gotten on their own. Of course as soon as he submits the offending comment to the courts as evidence they become a matter of public record and good luck stopping it from propagating from there.
